Terms of Service
Version 2026-10-18 — last updated 18 October 2026
These terms govern your use of this website and the pilot logbook application (the "Service"). By creating an account you agree to them.
1. The Service is a record-keeping aid, not an official logbook
This is the most important term on this page. Please read it.
- Flight hours, take-offs, landings and any other entries you record here are
for your own personal tracking and reference only.
- This Service is not an official pilot logbook, and it does not replace
one. It is not certified, approved, endorsed or recognised by any aviation authority, including (without limitation) the UK Civil Aviation Authority, the European Union Aviation Safety Agency, or the Federal Aviation Administration.
- You must maintain a separate, official logbook in whatever form your
licence and the applicable regulations require, and you must record your hours in it as those rules demand.
- Nothing in this Service constitutes a flight briefing, an airworthiness or
weather assessment, a currency or recency determination, a medical or licensing opinion, or any other operational advice. It is not a substitute for an official pre-flight briefing, a proper weather and NOTAM check, or your own judgement as pilot in command.
- Calculations the Service performs — totals, currency and recency checks,
statistics, and any displayed "compliance" status — are convenience indicators only. They may be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. You are responsible for verifying your own currency and compliance against the applicable regulations before you fly.
You are the pilot in command. You remain solely responsible for the safe conduct of any flight.
2. Your account
- You must provide an accurate email address and keep your password secure.
- You must be old enough to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
- You are responsible for everything done through your account.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that is used
unlawfully, or that is used to abuse, harass or spam other members.
3. Your content
- You own what you write. Your flight records, forum posts and other content
remain yours.
- You grant us a limited licence to store, process and display that content
for the purpose of operating the Service for you — for example, to show your own logbook back to you, or to display a forum post to other members.
- You must not post content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful,
spam, or that infringes anyone else's rights. Forum content may be moderated, hidden or removed, and repeat or serious breaches may lead to a ban.
- **Do not record anything in a forum post that you are not willing to make
public.** Forum content is visible to other members.
4. Community conduct
The community forum is moderated. Moderators may hide, lock, move or delete content, issue warnings, and suspend or ban accounts. Moderation decisions are recorded in an internal audit log. If you believe a decision was wrong, contact the site operator.
5. Availability and changes
- The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of
any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
- We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the Service at any time.
- We may update these terms. If a change is material we will publish a new
version and ask you to accept it. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new version.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or
consequential loss, or for any loss arising from your reliance on hours, totals, currency indicators or other output of the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
6. Ending your agreement
- You may stop using the Service at any time and may request deletion of your
account and data (see the Privacy Policy).
- If your account is closed, these terms cease to apply, except for the clauses
that by their nature should survive (including the disclaimers in section 1 and the liability limits in section 5).
7. Contact
Questions about these terms should be raised with the site operator through the contact details published on this website.
